SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Savannah Ghost Pirates announced Wednesday the team will be operating the 2025 Publix Savannah Hockey Classic, set to take place January 17-18 at Enmarket Arena.
The two-day tournament brings in four of the top college hockey teams in the Southeast: University of Florida, University of Georgia, University of Tennessee and Georgia Tech.
“The Hockey Classic has been a staple in the Savannah community for over 20 years,” Ghost Pirates Vice President John Thompson said. “Now, the Ghost Pirates are thrilled to bring it back and host the event for years to come. We cannot wait to continue the tradition and build hockey in the south for everyone to enjoy.”
Tickets for the 2025 Publix Savannah Hockey Classic will go on sale on Friday, December 13 at noon! The tournament’s schedule is as follows:

6:00 p.m. ET – Tennessee vs. Florida
8:30 p.m. ET – Georgia vs. Georgia Tech
Saturday, January 18, 2025
5:30 p.m. ET – 3rd Place Game (Losers from Friday night)
8:30 p.m. ET – Championship Game (Winners from Friday night)
The University of Georgia captured the Ghost Pirates Cup in the tournament’s 25th installment in 2024, defeating the University of Florida.
