SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Savannah Ghost Pirates, proud ECHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers, announced today that they have acquired forward Reid Pabich from the Fort Wayne Komets in exchange for defenseman Noah Carroll.
Pabich, 24, made his professional debut late last season with Fort Wayne, appearing in 10 games and recording one goal and three assists. The Verona, Wisconsin, native also appeared in four postseason contests, recording one goal and one assist.
Prior to turning professional, Pabich played 131 collegiate games between the University of Maine and Sacred Heart University, totaling 31 goals and 42 assists.
Carroll, 28, spent parts of three seasons with the Ghost Pirates. The Strathroy, Ontario, native appeared in 111 games with Savannah and 162 career professional games overall. He also played six American Hockey League games with the Henderson Silver Knights and 45 games with the Manchester Storm of the Elite Ice Hockey League.
